2018 album from Grammy Award-winning Texan country artist, this time around sourcing inspiration from Neil Young, Sade & The Bee Gees. Includes 'Butterflies' & 'Space Cowboy'.
This album has great sounds and lyrics and reminds me of her most recent album.
Musgraves is dealing here with much more personal matters, with her gift for great tunes, quietly witty and insightful lyrics and that lovely voice, used to perfection
I'm not a big modern country fan, but her lyrics are fantastic, relatable, fun, and the content is original and nothing like the cliche bro-country rubbish littering the country scene today

I had the good fortune of seeing here at the Bunbury Music Festival here in Cincinnati in 2015, about a week before "Pageant Material" was released
Kacey Musgraves seemingly came out of nowhere with her fabulous 2013 release "Same Trailer Different Park" (but in reality had already self-released several albums)

In the meantime, this album arriving on the same day as another 5 Star alt Country singer from Canada releases hers convinced me that we are incredibly fortunate to have access to a wealth of great music!
Music is magic and this album, at least on vinyl, has some magical licks.
