also, the new multi-elemental summons, some of which you must defeat a game boss in order to get (and some of them are pretty tough)

The advantages: phynergy (magic) is more than attack and you can't beat the game with out it, and the summons are the best in the business.

Now first off I would like to state that I have already beaten the game and attained EVERY item and EVERY djinn as well as EVERY multi-elemental summons

You can carry over your characters if you have a save from the first game and this is the only way to get the best summons in the game

Story wise this game is good, the characters sometimes suffer from a lack of personality or just not getting enough time onscreen to develop them.

the Elemental Rocks in The Lost Age, and the Ankohl Ruins, which requires the use of my personal favorite psynergy--sand.)My only gripes for the game include the fact that I'm a little tired of the standard RPG that's from the point of view of a male protagonist, as well as a minor flaw such as the fact that, when in battle, a character is assigned to attack a monster but the monster is killed before they can attack, the character automatically goes into defense mode, and the turn is wasted

My favorite thing about the game is it's got the coolest towns and places like that

The game map and length are both about 2x as much that was in golden sun, wich is a good thing because this game is going to be the best selling game boy advance

The only slightly annoying thing here is that you're never quite sure if a puzzle is soluble without you finding another item first

For those of you who DID complete the first one, be prepared for another 40+ hours of gaming along with some upgraded sound and music, and pretty much the exact same terrific gameplay and graphics as the first one, which is definitely a good thing.

one of my favorite things is the blacksmith in a town on the second continent, who will make a plethora of weapons/armor for you from certain materials you find, making each game different since you won't always get the same items

Some other new features appear in this game that would be present in the game that succeeds this one "Golden Sun: Dark Dawn" such as an upgrade to the act of "Summoning" In the previous game, summons could only occur with one distinct type of Djinni at a time

Please, please, PLEASE, however... do not believe reviews that the DS game called "Dark Dawn" as equal in any way to these first two masterpieces

You fight and stop them and then they become your friends again while retreating

Then you meet up with your rivals/friends/enemy's Karst and Agatio

Don't beat you're friend to bad though, just cuase you're game's mean you can beat him in real life

You then are left behind by your friend/enemy Alex and have to travel all across the world of Weyard igniting the sacred lighthouse's that bestow alchemy upon the world

All of these flaws have been nipped in the bud by Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age

Starting off on a good note, The Lost Age is very pretty for a handheld

This means that not only can you have your Issac & crew have all of the attributes that you worked so hard for, but you can also import the djinn you collected & potentially unlock the hardest boss of the game!I really did enjoy this game

There are combo summons, and the hardest boss of all the gameboy RPG's is included in the gameplay

The bosses now actually represent a bit of a challenge (the final boss of the original Golden Sun was a joke), although they are nowhere near impossible.

but I keep playing just because leveling up and fighting monsters is so much fun

No school, no homework, just some monster killing fun!!
