Google WiFi system, 3-Pack - Router replacement for whole home coverage (NLS-1304-25)
Style:3-Pack
Enjoy a fast signal in every room, on every device. Google Wi-Fi is a new type of connected system that replaces your router for seamless coverage throughout your home.
With the cable router we had spotty coverage in many areas of our house, but with this Google mesh wi-fi system we get excellent coverage, even outside on our deck.
The setup was easy, the coverage is great, and it updates itself
Super easy setup and great coverage for the entire house.
This wifi system has great coverage across all areas of my house
Set these up in my parents house that is notorious for terrible coverage
Easy setup with the google app and nice features that allow you to turn off devices as certain times and even get some devices priority for a certain amount of time
Simple setup, but lacks some features that advanced users may need.
The app also has some great features such as testing wifi speed, making a device have priority connection, viewing who is connected to your WiFi and how much data they are using, and more
It’s missing some advanced networking features that could be useful but 99% of
Also has some cool features like pause internet connection and limit bandwidth based on device.
I had a Netgear that extended the range but killed the throughput tremendously.
The Google system had great reviews and seem to promise good range and speed
Before we made the switch we battled drop coverage, slow speeds, and diminished range
I used a wifi analyzer and I figure it could be collisions with my neighbors on channels or the fact that for 5Ghz maybe the range was not good enough for the theater in the
Set-up is easy, uptime is great, mobile app is useful, good range, and it's fast
Prior to buying this router I was unable to get a consistent wifi signal throughout my house, I was persistently plagued with slow speed and poor signal
When not dropping signal, the wifi would slow speeds to 0.5mbps
After the WiFi did its calculations I had/have a full house of WiFi with great speed on all devices.
It improved the speed and reliability all over the house
I was having slow speed issues before, now with one pod on each floor it all works great
This from a company that is pushing there smart home devices.
I tried so hard to like this device but in the end, I couldn't recommend it to IT professionals that want more control over their network
For the average home setup that isn't smart device crazy (compatibility with older devices can be an issue), this is one of them
I like that I can manage access with the Google WiFi app and connecting additional devices and smart home devices has been easy and simple
It means more important devices like your home security system or smart thermostat could be bumped off the Wifi network because of other competing devices in your home
I absolutely love the Google WiFi system!I needed to solve a problem where my WiFi router located in the basement wasn’t t giving me strong enough signal throughout the house (1st floor, 2nd floor, and attic), specially if I had the basement door closed
I've had no connectivity issues at all - none! - since the absolutely painless installation of this thing.
I spent over an hour working with both Google support and AT&T support and each of them blame the other one

n’t had any issues my Internet since I fixed the router issue in January
I changed the DHCP range to not overlap with any of my static IP addresses.
I use some static IP addresses and also figured that out.
I have several devices on my home network with static IP addresses.
I then realized that the default DHCP range that this device uses, which is on the same settings page as the LAN address, included a subrange where some off my static IP addresses were assigned.
The controller App [Google WiFi] is very intuitive and helps you to set up a guest network as well as to manage the devices on your network
After doing a heat-map on my wifi coverage, i have ZERO dead zones in my house now
That setup was very unreliable and had some dead zones.
Whereas I received around 24+ MBPS (45 MS latency) with our singular ASUS router that, by spec, should have far exceeded the coverage of our home, the google wifi system has restored dead zones and kept our internet at a consistent 70 MBPS (11 MS latency) regardless of where we go in the house
