The large number of negative reviews concerning battery life didn't dissuade me because I use a power supply -- or would if the darned DC power connector socket was the right size
I had to buy a multi connector power supply in order to find the right size for the power jack.

Does seem to play scratched up CDs well, although there is scuffing-like noise when the ESP keeps trying and failing to buffer, on account of the CD being scratched

Ended up ordering a more expensive CD player and another brand.
I needed a portable cd player to work with my students and this has fit the bill
I keeps opening while it plays,makes weird noises, and it scratched her cd very upset about that.

Unable to read any discs......i should've listened to all the other bad reviews...... truly a terrible product.
