He also said the bridge was bent and that the curve on the bridge is not exactly correct so my daughter would need to press harder on one or two strings to get the correct sound or to prevent the bow from hitting the wrong string.

The sound is not great and the pegs don't hold well (needs tuning very frequently) but he can hear the notes and get a feel for playing

The sound isn't great (the tuner said that it would never sound any better than it does right now), nowhere near, but for starter lessons and a 10 year old, it's fine for now
