The frame is aluminum and a fairly soft grade at that

Good quality too, just put yourself some sort of reminder on the bike so you don't try and run off with it!

One good lock beats two POS ones, for sure

My only gripe, and it's trivial, is the locks are not keyed alike, but truly isn't a real problem.

The somewhat gentle impact caused the lock casing to dent, become deformed, and made it impossible to use the key

Hard to beat for less than $15 for 2 locks, ball bearing on center of keyway helps to prevent drilling, but aluminum body could be cut fairly easily
