Only complaint is that the transmitter is not very strong
-
I had a much older iTrip that would just go to 87.9 and it was the best transmitter that I had ever owned.
-
Picked this up to replace an old Monster FM transmitter/charger when I got an iPhone 3G.
-
I found this to be a terrible FM transmitter
-
This version of the Griffin works well: charges the iPhone 3G, the remote skip/play buttons on the charger are great, and the transmitter seems more powerful/effective than the Monster
-
I will concede that the charger works fine, but the transmitter is beyond garbage.
-
Whether the unit even works as an FM transmitter for your iPod, I can't say since I couldn't use the unit without its display
-
Would somebody PLEASE make a halfway decent FM transmitter for the iPhone 3g!
-
I agree that the transmitter is underpowered.
-
The transmitter is definitely underpowered.
-
overall i give this item a 9.5/10 rating.btw, i just upgraded to the itrip hands free transmitter since i upgraded to iphone 5
-
High pitches tones sound slightly garbled and not as sharp as they should sound
-
I keep this around only for trips across state where the FM band is not clogged as it is in the city.
