Griffin iTrip Auto Pilot FM Transmitter with App Integration for iPod and iPhone

    • Unfortunately, this unit is not capable of performing as advertised
    • Unit works very well when used in rural areas where there are few radio stations, but in the Seattle area it's completely unusable unless you enjoy listening to songs overpowered by static until an actual radio station cuts in and drowns out your iPod music all together.
    • I previously owned a model by Belkin, which worked reasonably well (with a couple slight advantages), but the unit was fried when I had some battery work done on my truck--it never worked after that.
    • I did have this same unit before with my Jeep Liberty and it didn't work at all.
    • Unfortunately neither unit worked perfectly.
    • However, if you can't take advantage of the 87.9 frequency or don't know if any frequencies around you that are open, I highly suggest buying from a place that you feel comfortable returning this unit to.
    • This unit just works!
    • On that station, with Smart Sound and Stereo options enabled, I think this unit sounds really good.
    • This unit supports the iPod Touch and it's neat that it broadcasts the song info to my radio
    • Maybe other makes of autos will produce better results, but this unit, in an RX-400h is totally unsatisfactory
    • This is a pretty good unit
    • I had to change the settings a bit to find a powerful enough signal for the unit to play clearly but when i did, the unit worked well.
