It is thinner than the previous version and, combined with the spacer to allow for cases (which wasn't necessary using my Griffin case, old iTrip fit just fine even with case), it seems wiggly and as though a sharp bang or drop from the wrong angle would snap the iTrip in half, leaving half inside the iPod and half elsewhere
