Griffin iTrip LCD Dock Connector for iPod (Black)

    • This iTrip doesn't work that well
    • The new itrip looks nicer than the previous 2006 version and is less bulky.2
    • Of course if you want to listen to the radio again you'll have to reinstall the antenna, but then why would you need an iTrip if you liked what was playing on radio stations???
    • This newer iTrip supposedly automatically adjusted its signal strength to overpower anything on a certain frequency but when I tried to put it on a frequency with complete static, the iTrip would not overpower it
    • The only negative issue for me, so far, is that this iTrip must be with in 12 inches of the radio antenna for it to work
    • I've ordered another iTrip Auto (my last one was broken by an iPod thief) because I just can't listen to any more static, intermittent dj banter and other interference.

    • Bottom LineThough the new itrip is aesthetically nicer, it's functionality is subpar when compared to it's predecessor, the 2006 itrip.
    • I loved the original iTrip from Griffin, and thought I would love this one as well.
    • , so I'm pretty sure the older iTrip is incompatible
