Each one has wonderful reception right out of the box, but after about 2-3 years, begins to fade in and out of tuning.

This is a great idea, but I gave up using it because it was too hard to find open frequencies where you would get clear reception

FM Modulators as a rule do not provide as clear reception as a direct line
