I think it is difficult though to change songs on it with the hard plastic cover (but in return has good protection, the velcro is fine and can last a long time

Useful and foolproof; my one wish was that they put a small hole at the bottom for what I call the "safety" ie the switch that keeps the ipod from turning on - lost the battery charge one day when I couldn't (or didn't) put the safety on.
