It has nice padding, zipper pocket for music, back pack like straps for easy carry.

Extra pocket is helpful, though it is a tad bit tight for regular music books.

I did note the shape of the pocket when ordering, but assumed the pocket would be deep enough for books to fit completely inside when zipped.
