Great customer service had a few problems getting sensitivity and placement the way we wanted

I look forward to the day when it is integrated to smart phones and/or tablets for remote monitoring (both for alarm and battery levels), setup, and customization of notification tones.

However, the advertised range of 1000 ft. is highly inaccurate

My driveway is over a 1/4 mile long and it is not straight and is wooded as well, the sensor is about 800 feet away from the receiver and works as it should.

I am having trouble with the receiver's alert signal not working (delays of more than 6o seconds), sensor light works fine at 7 second intervals

This alarm is working perfect for me, it has just the right distance adjustment to narrow down the beam width so as to not pick up movement outside the door entrance

Despite a little uncertainty (by me) this thing works real good.

The thing falses out a lot, be prepared to get like 1,000 beeps

The only annoying thing is when my kids' friends discovered it and kept waving their hands in front of it to "light it up" and there's been a few several minute spans where it goes off continuously because of this.

Apparently, it was being tripped when wind would blow the leaves of a nearby tree that was within detection range

I place mine about 250 feet from receiver, great reception, it works fine, car, bike, kids and my dog will trigger the sound, we just started Fall so a few leaves will also start the unit but not as much

So far I have not had the same problems of false alarms with the Guardian

The 1/4 mile unit still goes off from time to time in false trips, but better that, then not going off at all, as happened several times with this one.

I would really like a way to connect this to a diy home security network, so I could get alerts (via text/mobile app/email, etc...) that the alarm was tripped

It has been a delight to know when anyone is coming down the drive (I'm on small acreage in the country) and, after realizing that there's a feral cat who comes through at the same time every night I realized I could ignore that one, lol!Good company, good

Very few false alarms.. usually it is a LARGE bird that flew past it that sets it off.

Only one odd alarm in several weeks was a bird flying by it.

We live at the dead end of a private road and were having issues with people parking on our circle at the dead end (we have a heroin problem in our county, so we want nobody down our private road)
