  • Good game, was bought at a great price just over 60 bucks!

  • I had Guitar Hero before but got rid of it, was so happy to get it back - game is awesome everything came in perfect condition
  • I would expect classic LEGENDARY artists... not Tenacious D, AFI and lots of other UP AND COMING artists and

Reviews around rock (4.49 of 5)

  • If you dont like classic rock, the bonus songs have harder (emo, metal) and more experimental alternative music
  • There are lots of other metal, classic rock, punk rock and alternative gems
  • You will really love this game if you love classic rock, and or good rock ballads
  • The game brings out a lot when it comes to great rock music
  • I love the classic rock and '80s metal tracks, but a lot of the others don't do anything for me.

Reviews around time (4.03 of 5)

  • I've had some issues with the green button working correctly all the time.
  • I lost time and twice the money as the return cost me more than what I spent on the guitar
  • I won't waste my time re listing all the problems with the guitar controller, just read other's reviews
  • I mean, the game is great, the music is pretty cool, the graphics great, and having the gutar really makes you enjoy the time!!
  • Unless you get the notes perfect every time not a little early or late, you fail the song.

Reviews around addition (3.75 of 5)

  • I am confused as to why they would have a usb "dongle" or adapter with the PS3.
  • This is a very fun addition and adds to the party game experience while adding challenge too
  • Playing the boss battles are a nice change of pace, and a good addition to the series
  • Also, if you are interested in the new Rock Band, the Les Paul guitar (one included with GH3) will not work as of yet for Rock Band.
  • I would expect classic LEGENDARY artists... not Tenacious D, AFI and lots of other UP AND COMING artists and

Reviews around song (3.49 of 5)

  • Instead of having to play the songs they give you, they could have given you some more options, like remove this song from the setlist and replace it with that one
  • What I didn't like:While the song list contained some real gems, there will be songs that you either never heard of or don't particularly care for and you will have to play some of them in career mode
  • I sort of wish the songs were better, but this is a complaint that could transcend all the way back
  • Overall it's a great game with some pretty cool songs (and a few not so good ones - but still fun).A couple frustrating
  • A better song selection would have been nice, good bands but not good songs from the bands i think was the issue for me.

Reviews around guitar (3.36 of 5)

  • Had an issue syncing the guitar but it happened after awhile.
  • Basically, the guitar that comes with this game works only with this game, and this game only works with the guitar that comes with it.
  • Guitar still works fine and all!Sure, you are not playing a real guitar, but you are enjoying a great game and very good music

Reviews around thing (3.22 of 5)

  • Only thing that concerned me was the battery leaking acid on the inside
  • The funny thing about this game is that even guitarist love to play it
  • Since it's now significantly less expensive than the new "World Tour" edition, which has other products included, you hopefully wouldn't feel too jobbed if you got it and ended up not liking it since I know this won't be everyone's favorite thing.
  • The only bad thing about this game is that they don't sell the wirelss guitar controller,(or any guitar controller) seperately for the PS3, so head-to-head play is impossible at this time, unless you play over the internet.

Reviews around product (3.04 of 5)

  • I would expect classic LEGENDARY artists... not Tenacious D, AFI and lots of other UP AND COMING artists and
  • Excellent product, has an acceptable quality, in addition to being made from raw material first and be very durableCongratulations to you
  • I purchased this product and the guitar doesn't work (no surprise as I see this on a lot of reviews).
  • The exclusion of a seperate controller is shocking and head-scratching, but activision released a fine product ready for the marketplace unlike some games these days
  • this is a great product for anyone interested in getting started in the world of guitar hero, bought it a few months ago and have not stopped playing since

Reviews around note (2.18 of 5)

  • when you miss only one note you might not hear the next 5 seconds of song.
  • The controller does have some issues -- it occasionally misses notes and the star power sensor is way too sensitive.
  • It frequently misses notes and today just won't maintain a connection
  • the last one is particularly cheesy, no matter how good you are if you don't happen to get the right notes you can't win
  • It just kills me to miss only one note in a 400+ note song, so, I have to try and try again until I get it perfect

Reviews around connection (1.00 of 5)

  • A friend who has played GH for a long time on PS2 with multiple versions tried my game and suggested I have a bad connection between the neck and the body of the guitar.
  • I follow the directions in the white insert of the manual and the connection is still hit or miss.
  • On a couple occasions the controller connected at start-up and just as I was about to begin playing a song, I lost the connection.
