Dies the job.

The Kitchenaid isn't perfect (burr grinders are a religion among caffistas), but it does a better job in general, I can stop grinding halfway to shake the machine around and redistribute the pieces, and, more importantly, if the beans are older or colder I can adjust the grind time by changing how long I hold down the lid
-
These days, burr grinders seem to be preferred over blade grinders and I will agree that a high quality burr grinder does a great job, but at this price, you aren't going to get a very nice quality burr grinder
-
Not as much power as the kitchenaid grinder, but does a decent job of grinder tea herbs
-
Who needs a burr grinder when the Hamilton Beach Custom Grind does an excellent job at a reasonable price
-
The Hamilton Beach grinder is far more esthetic, and has some nice bells and whistles, but it does a lousy job of actually grinding coffee
-
Does a good job of grinding
-
This Hamilton Beach does an awesome job and my coffee is consistently ground

Great job Hamilton!!

The new one is quieter and does a good job.

Four cups" to the Kitchenaid is about twice that volume, but this is not actually an advantage - I usually grind one scoop's worth at a time (which is one morning cup for me), and the Kitchenaid doesn't do a very good job with that small an amount
-
I needed a grinder that did a good job and was easy to clean, yet could grind a fair amount of beans...this one is great...it does me very well.
-
does a good job and holds a ton of beans
