The dark roast had slightly fewer large bits, but overall the differences were negligible

I grind my coffee every day (dark roast with cream) and have no complaints.

Since the first batch of beans I tested were relatively old (~2 months from purchase), in the interests of fairness I tried again with beans bought within the week, both medium and dark roast, and both frozen and at room temperature

We’ve had this grinder for almost a year and it works just as good as when we bought it

Also very easy to clean as the steel cup can lift out and be washed with soap and water

I loved this grinder so much as it operates without having to hold onto it

The basket is high quality steel and easy to remove both for emptying out the ground coffee as well as for occasional washing in the dish washer, or brushing clean with the brush that comes with the grinder.
