Fantastic hot water pot, boils water in just a few minutes and easy to use
Heats water to a rapid boil quickly, shuts off automatically when finished, is easy to pour and looks very nice on your counter.
I use kettle at working daily for tea and to cook eggs in (great for hard boiled eggs) but after a year or so i always have to replace it.
Does it work great: fast boil, needs small space in the travel bag.

It seems that Hamilton Beach is using cheap stainless steel

I use it to make tea, Turkish Coffee and to pre boil cooking water.
I use it for my loose leaf tea, which I drink every day
I love tea and this tea kettle heats water so fast and so hot.
Perfect for hot tea in the evening or oatmeal in the morning.
It's definitely much faster than trying to boil tea in a kettle for one person or microwaving

I've purchased other electric kettles before and never seen such a poorly designed device.
I love this - it's perfect for 1 or 2 people... not so big that it takes up too much room, neat and sleek design, gets the water good and boiling hot!
The design is elegant, it has an on/off switch (no unplugging), and the part that heats up is separate from the pot, so you can lift off the stainless pot to pour.
Heats up really quickly.very handy and sleek design at a fraction of price.
Much prefer this design in which the kettle itself has no cord, only the base - easier to pour and also easier to clean

Absolutely love this - heats water super quick, easy to use.
Works as it's supposed to, and heats up water really quickly

I've seen pictures from others that show damage to the bottom of the top cover due to their closing of the top while heating.

Well, I am currently on Amazon right now looking for a new electric tea pot since I just can't get past the strange taste this was providing.
