My main problem with the coffeemaker is that the warming unit is so hot that my coffee is boiling in the coffee tank.

The heating element screwed to the top of the (lower) water tank is mounted too high at the rear end, and so the back end of the heat transfer plate in the (upper) coffee tank rests on it and rocks back and forth, When testing with plain water the temperature at the back end of that plate exceeded 200F and localized incipient boiling could still be seen at that point an hour after the brew cycle ended

The coffee tank is removable, but awkwardly shaped, meaning it's very tippy if there is coffee in it
