The brew time is more or less on par with amply other coffee maker, but the fact that is nearly impossible to throughly clean this machine to tidbit of the old, stale coffee taste is what's done it for me

The machine will keep coffee hot for 4 hrs, it sometimes gets too hot but you can live with it.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice coffee machine but don't want to spend a crap ton of money
