I decided to go with a different brand because I kind of missed having the option to brew a pot and not wanting to waste a lot of money and further damage the environment by buying k-cups, I wanted to go with a podless system as those refillable k-cups are a real mess and pain

BUT, the product was improperly packed such that the carafe was sitting unsecured in the unit and fell off (and broke) as I lifted it from the box with both hands for the first time.
