I have been looking forward to trying this extra special coconut ice cream recipe and ordered all the proper ingredients (see below) to show up right before my Hamilton Ice Cream Maker

, my initial issue was, I wasn't using the proper ingredients

It is easy to use, my older kids enjoy making homemade ice cream with healthier ingredients!!!

The first surprise was how expensive the ingredients were - heavy whipping cream, half and half, eggs, and the ice cream salt

I'm one of the few that's continued using it, and was shocked when it stopped working and all my ingredients were wasted

I also read that putting it on the door of your freezer helps as well as being sure all ingredients are cold when making the ice cream to prevent any melting and refreezing which forms ice crystals.

We have also found out that it helps if you can use cold ingredients and a frozen tub

so if you are strapped for cash for expensive ingredients or intimidated to follow the rules like I was

but I'm out the cost of the wasted salt and the ingredients.

I like that I can control the ingredients and make my own homemade organic ice cream

For the money, it makes ice cream and does pretty well if you just use the correct ingredients

You will ruin many expensive ingredients and waste a lot of time trying to make this cheap chinese junk work before sending to landfill where mine is.

now I use this product as a trash bin and and dishwasher containe,r that is certainly a useful purpose for this.
