Best price on the internet for the least expensive / decent rice cooker that doesn't cost much.

This stove is pretty good, the price is really reasonable and it looks great

I went with the 14 cup version and it is a decent size.

The size is very compact for 7 cups and it looks pretty good

Awesome product and great rice cooker but the medium size 7 cups will be to small

We also use it to cook rice, and the cooker is the right size for our family.

Other than that, I DO recommend the unit because it does a nice job cooking and is very easy to clean.

It does a great job, even with Calrose rice and is fairly easy to take apart and clean.

Works great but the buttons have to much resistance causing you to move the unit when you press themIt does cook rice and hot cereal great though.

The hot cereal feature works really well and everything runs like I have come to expect from this brand.

I like the features but do not like that it "crisps" the bottom of everything I cook.

My favorite feature is the warmer after the rice cooks, so if the other parts of the meal aren't finished yet, the rice stays warn without getting dried out or burnt.

Although the instructions state that the pot is dishwasher safe, after washing the pot, it started to develop a black coating that rubs off - probably aluminum oxide rusting

My old cooker was one of those simple on-off models without a digital display, but it did the job and managed to crank out pot after pot of perfectly cooked rice (all varieties of white and brown) without sticking or burning

After cooking, I will immerse the left rice about 2-3 hours, naturally break off, and then clean this pot every time using tap water, don't use any soft sponge.

The rice is cooked pretty good, the time is also pretty good.

While this cooker does a nice job churning out consistent, well-cooked grains (I've tried several types of rice, farro, quinoa, and oatmeal), it is a major pain to clean

What is unusual are the directions, which contradict the directions and the ratio or rice to water that's found on my bag of rice.

So just be ready for cleanup or placing paper towels over steam vent!

The steam vent's location allows liquid to condense and run down the outside of the cooker.

Whether I cook one cup or more of rice, the amount of water released through the steam vent floods the outer portion of the lid (under the top handle) with messy rice water.

It does particularly poorly with brown rice, with starchy water bubbling out of the steam vent on top and spilling onto the counter
