The most interesting feature of the game is the 'Famous Witches and Wizards' cards
There's also skills that can be used if you collect enough cards and card combos, but the skills Harry can use with them are not nearly good enough to waste a set of Wizard cards on
You can collect alot of spells (hint: check book-cases in library) and you can collect magical cards to help you in battle
You collect and trade wizard cards to improve Harry's strength

You start out in Diagon Ally, a wizard's shopping area then you find your way to Hogwarts, do tasks for the teachers, learn totally awesome spells and even meet Fluffy, the three headed dog!
I like that you can pick your own spells, and you battle bats and other icky creatures
There's some really nasty bosses throughout the game, and it can be difficult without a healing spell
And one could argue that not having a healing spell is an artistic choice by the creators to keep it true to the lore of Harry Potter, but this doesn't make it any less annoying

You can use this to your advantage: for example, there's some really tough enemies in the astronomy tower, you get more experience from enemies there than, say, the enemies in the grounds
There's some pretty tough enemies, and some *really* tough bosses
Also, the enemies do not get more powerful as you progress through the game

Even Pokemon, the black sheep of RPGS, has a healing skill, sort of
After all that time, one would thing a healing skill is mandatory in an RPG game

if I could possibly explain the sickening excitement I felt the moment I beat the stupid flying key level... what a whirlwind of joy, exhaustion and pure victory
Nontheless, there is a lot of good ways to level grind, but it does take a while
