Maybe worth a read if you absolutely love Stephen King, but otherwise I would give it a pass.
-
The Harvest is just another hell of a good read by one of the best and original storytellers I've came across in many years
-
All in all, I did find this to be an enjoyable read full of wacky characters getting sucked into an Outer Limits creature
-
Overall, I found The Harvest entertaining, a fast read and the characters interesting
-
Fast and fun reading.
-
Enjoyable, quick read that was a new twist on alien invasion fiction.
-
Very fun read
-
A good read overall for relaxation
-
And who could expect a world-destroying alien from the icy-cold, soul-sucking darkness of space that could turn out to be more human than some of the people in the book?An excellent read, all around!
-
This seemed like it was going to be a good read, but I quit it after about the third time the author got heavy handed with his political views.
-
Some of the hick backstories made for good reading, but others just seemed like filler
-
This foray into the realm of monster science fiction, while not his best work, is still a solid read with plenty of artful prose
-
It was a very unexpected good read

-
.. but not a bad read.

Not to suggest that it's a tough read

Good read
-
For some reason it was a slow read for me.
-
The Harvest is a fun horror, old-fashioned horror novel that will work as a quick, entertaining read
-
Another good read!
-
All I can say is that it scared the hell out of me, and it was a great read.

Aside from having Heart of Gold, his only #1 single, it also includes several other great songs, as well as having a group of songs that are inherently accessible, with great melodies, soft, tender, soothing vocals, and pacing that anyone can enjoy
