    Harvest

    • Heart of Gold" and "Old man" are simply amazing tracks in this CD.This is a highly recommended album for Neil Young
    • The other tracks are great but don't stand out quite as much as the ones specifically mentioned
    • To me (as a music fan), I like to indentify Neil Young as his finest career (legacy building) moment with this album: "Harvest."Suffice it to say, every track on this album is nothing short of a masterpiece (although I am highly partial
    • The former album had a marvelous title track and in Southern Man, a rocker to rival any other put out by any artist
    • A Man Needs a Maid' is the first of the two orchestral integrated tracks - its an excellent track which builds up very well.
    • The number one hit-single "Heart of Gold" is obviously one of the reasons why the album was so successful, but of course the album has a lot of other great tracks
    • On the other hand, some tracks are weak, and it can't be taken as seriously as After the Goldrush or Everybody
    • Old Man' is a slower, reflective acoustic track with a fantastic chorus.
    • OLD MAN was the second hit off this album and NEEDLE AND THE DAMAGE DONE is a superb live track.
    • It has no weak tracks.
    • One of the weakest tracks in Neil's history, a sappy, countrified throwaway
    • Heart of Gold' will perhaps always go down as Young's biggest hit, a classic 3 minute acoustic track with a great harmonica part to it
    • OLD MAN was the second hit off this album and NEEDLE AND THE DAMAGE DONE is a superb live track.
    • There isnt a weak track on this recorded
    • Harvest', the title track follows this and is an idyllic, picturesque sounding track, driven by a strong piano
    • This is the weakest track on the album by quite a distance and a real misfire, especially coming off the heels of the brilliance of "Old Man.
    • All tracks on Harvest are good but the combination of tracks make this the classic album it is
    • every track is a winner
    • All 10 tracks are incredible.
    • Heart of Gold is one of my favorite songs, and stands out on Harvest even though it is loaded with great tracks.
    • Words (between the lines of age)' is a great closing track, more rocking than the rest of the album, Young and his backing band are on the top of their game in this powerful finisher.'Harvest' is a fantastic album
    • Decent title track, but Neil's done many
    • Needle and the Damage Done," is among the greatest tracks ever written on the subject of drug abuse (a close second to "Sister Morphine" by the Stones), "Old Man" is like nothing else in Neil's catalogue and is a great track as well
    • Best tracks are 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,10
    • I didn't buy into DVD-A to have to listen to an inferior DTS track
    • But the album has a number of weak tracks, the most notable and dated of which is the ridiculous "A Man Needs a Maid."
    • The two symphonic tracks on this album alone would make it amazing.
    • lyrically melancholy."The Needle and the Damage done" is almost certainly, not only one the most deeply personal, but also one of the best tracks on the album.
    • Aside from having Heart of Gold, his only #1 single, it also includes several other great songs, as well as having a group of songs that are inherently accessible, with great melodies, soft, tender, soothing vocals, and pacing that anyone can enjoy
