Where you are sitting the chair actually sinks into the carpet and the mat reforms lead to getting harder for the chair to move

I returned the item and bought one from Staples, the quality was much better but at a higher price.

When used on a medium pile carpet it does not provide a sturdy flat surface for my chair to easily roll on as the wheels press indentations in the mat
