TV setup was easy and packaging was very good which protected the unit well in shipping.

A lot of the posters here are upset with shipping, which is understandable, but they either changed their method or those customers were unlucky because hisene had the BEST packaging I have ever received for a TV.
It felt like I could have just slammed that TV around with how comprehensive that packaging was.

I did get awesome Amazon support and did receive a free replacement
When I removed tv from box noticed screen cracked pushed in exactly where the box had damage...called Amazon, replacement tv on the way, Amazon cs rep was sympathetic & very good to deal with...now I have to re-package it and take it to nearest UPS for return

It plays both dolby vision (shield doesn't so I use netflix app on the smart TV) and HDR 10/+.All in all this TV has very minimal finicky things about it, but all said and done for this price, it is an incredible deal.
Feels like a pretty good deal for under $600.
Having wide color, peak brightness around 700 nits and local dimming seemed like a phenomenal deal since there really arent any other sets around this price point that include all of this

The picture has a good quality for the price however, like most current TV's speaker quality is low and the unit benefits significantly from a soundbar.
good picture quality and brightness, but screen displayed a defective flashing patterns every couple of hours which took the whole screen up and interrupted my viewing so had to return.
The good: Nice picture quality, decent sound, light to carry
Other than these issues, the quality of the picture and sound is great.
(Android fans will know what I mean) - everyone else, it's woefully SLOW!In conclusion, Hisense is definitely on the right track but at this point in time, they've got some fairly simple things to overcome to become a real contender in the "Budget TV" realm with contenders like TCL and their Roku TV's.

According to them based on the pictures I’ve sent, they said it was just a bad pixel and they would not replace it unless there were 5 or more bad pixels
