they are a nice fine strip that you can look directly into without any discomfort
-
Re polarity: There are lots of negative reviews for LED strip connectors (again, these don't work on this product as discussed above,) complaining about the fact that sometimes the positive/negative polarity is "wrong".
-
If you are looking for a "bright" led strip, then stay away from these.
-
Great strip lighting, nice tone.
-
Great product, except for the lack of instruction on cutting the LED strip and the connecting wire problem with regard to the 600 light LED strip.
-
LED strip could be brighter
-
Overall, pretty good strip with a price that can't be beat.
-
now I have to wade back into the purgatory known as shopping for LED strip lights, when I thought I could sit back and congratulate myself for having the patience and google-skill to finally find what inside I knew existed SOMEWHERE
-
The only problem with this LED Light Strip was that the adhesive tape was not uniformly pre-applied to the strip, where the length of tape was shorter than the LED strip section above it causing the LED strip to arch up away from the tape in 1/2 to 1 inch spans
-
This is double-density LED strip (600 as opposed to 300 lights on the 5 meter tape) and also one with warm spectrum (yellowish as opposed to blueish overtones)
-
I recommend soldering the connections to the LED strip, if you can.
-
The lights work really well, very bright, ran two strips down the ceiling in my van
-
I could not get it to stay with the LED strip
-
I installed lengths of LED strips beneath kitchen cabinets, containing them in aluminum channels with lens covers
-
the adhesive tape lets me mount the LED strip at the very back of the room and it fills the room with a nice even ambient light.
-
Easy Install with HitLights 12v 40w dimmable driver (not the whole strip) and hitlights 8mm strip connector.
-
It does have adhesive backing, but I need to be able to remove the strip to clean or paint the space without damaging the product.
-
I used these LED's (Premium High Density 3528 Warm White LED Light Strip - 600 LEDs, 3000K, 164 Lumens & 2.6 Watts per Foot, 12V DC, Adhesive Backed) for a kitchen cabinet lighting project.
-
I bought a bunch of various LED light strips over the last year and out of all of them, I like this one the best
-
this is very good quality ribbon LED strip light with high density and only 48W power consumption per
-
A single strip of these LEDs under each set of kitchen cabinets works great for under cabinet lighting
-
I am very happy with these LED strips; this is the second one I've purchased in the last few months, and, like the previous reel, it's quite good.
-
The density is good and the strip is surprisingly bright at 12 volts - it will run off of 9 volts if you need it dimmer
-
The latter reduces the resistance in the two power traces that run the length of the strip, and was used on a 300-LED strip that I bought earlier.
-
Combine the double density LED strip with the HitLights 60 Watt power adapter ($16) and a a GE Iris duplex outlet from Lowes ($35) and you got a great Z-Wave wirelessly controllable under cabinet
-
Some of the pre-soldered joints were slightly crooked so I had to straighten the strip when I was applying it.
-
These LEDs are very bright - one strip (full 5m) is enough to light the room as much as both florescent lights.
-
These strips provide plenty of accent/Task lighting and the 3000 K color temperature nicely complements the 2700 K color temperature emitted form the LED ceiling lights.
-
This strip of lights was perfect for my kitchen.
-
It's nice to have a piece to practice with before you embark on your project; try the strip in place if you can to see if you like the color and the way the light falls
-
The high-density strip was perfect for this application and so far, unlike a less expensive strip light I purchased from a different company, the double sided tape actually works.
-
These are the brightest LED strip lights that I have seen yet
-
It is a well-engineered light strip that can be cut every inch
-
They are a low heat emitting LED light strip and they are ideal to run across the top of your cabinets for example to act as an accent light.
-
Mistake #3 we pre drilled holes in the cabinets big enough all the clips could go through & ended up only needing holes big enough for wire & the LED strip because I ended up buying a small Soldering tool & wire and taught myself how to solder.
-
I use the E6000 along the edges of the strip as protection against knocking the strip off the metal strip.
-
If they had connectors that worked with this set, I would purchase them instead of soldering my own wires (at the time of purchase, I couldn't find connectors that said they worked with the 600 LED strip)
-
These double-density LED strips provide a lot of lighting for our application.
-
As advertised, the strip is flexible, and it's very light, so it's not inclined to lie flat.
-
I used my hot glue gun to adhere my LED strip to the wood channel I'd dadoed with my table saw.
-
Good price great light but very difficult to solder since they don't make a snap on connector like they do for the 300 LED strips.
-
We used the flexible light strip for under cabinet lighting in our kitchen and it just brings out all the backsplash colors so wonderfully
-
Would prefer a light strip with matching diffuser
-
These are the 4th set of LED light strips I've purchased and they're excellent.
-
Not sure that it was due to packaging, but rather more likely something that happened in the warehouse prior to shipping, but the LED strip I bought was damaged, with one section snagged so badly that it ripped an LED right off the PCB ribbon
-
Ive purchased LED strip light for a previous project to light a antique display
-
The flexible PCB strip is pretty easy to arrange, and the adhesive backing has good holding power.
-
No worries, the strip comes with leads on both ends so splitting it up should be a breeze.
-
most of the Cheaper led strip use 3M sticker
-
This strip is the most expensive but also the only strip with virtually zero problems
-
I plugged the driver into Tresco's 120V capacitive On/Off touch pad mounted under a cabinet next to the LED strip, so I use that as my on-off switch.
-
I might have given this 4 stars just because its a relatively DIY purchase, have to figure out the other parts and assemble it myself, but having recently purchased the Hafele equivalent for literally - as in I am not exaggerating - 10 times the price and still had to figure out the right parts and assemble it myself AND the assembly was not as foolproof as the Hitlights - I really appreciate that these is a great LED light strip at a very reasonable price
-
I am using these along with this light strip 6 Amp LED Power Supply for LED Strip Lighting andDirected Electronics 8600 Micro Magnetic Switch.
-
However a thin strip of hot glue solves the problem instantly
-
I was worried this LED strip wouldn't be bright
-
Power supply and dimmer are all hidden under my sink with just the LED strips & touch pad exposed under cabinet.
-
Without these LED strips, I would have had touse pucks (which do not provide nice uniform light) or thicker rope type LEDs (those are 110 Volt, a scary proposition), or fluorescents which would be both visible (the units are not thin enough to be hidden by shelf lip) and cause eye strain
-
I ordered the HitLights double density warm white light strip to convert my under cabinet fluorescent fixtures to LED fixtures
-
The problem is not with the High Density Premium LED Light strip, but rather with the special connectors.
-
When cutting the strip to angle a corner, it is most important to NOT reverse the LED strip by accident, otherwise the electric connecting wires will not have the proper polarity connection.
-
SMD from Amazon as well as 3014 and 3528 strips from Flexfire LEDs.
-
FIRE or a burned out strip are
-
one strip of these were perfect
-
There is no adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip as the plastic tube is made of a material that the adhesive tape will not stick to
-
Love the LED lighting specially for my wife's office desk overhang where I replaced very hot halogen lighting with the HitLights Cool White Double Density light strip.
-
I'd created my channel and adhered my LED strip to it.
-
After probably well over 10 hours wading through what I have discovered is the worst possible marketing universe - LED strip lights with technical descriptions written by foreign sadists
-
No problems cutting strips to length.
-
We returned it and purchased the Carefree strip, which fit our RV perfectly.
-
I may avoid all the cheaper strips from now on as they mosly just caused me grief so far
-
First foray into LED strip lights
-
I lined the bottom of my kitchen cabinets with the LED strip
-
Only other issue is the connecting wire has too much strip requirement for the 600 light LED strip.
-
Not sure that it was due to packaging, but rather more likely something that happened in the warehouse prior to shipping, but the LED strip I bought was damaged, with one section snagged so badly that it ripped an LED right off the PCB ribbon
-
These are "double density" - twice as many LED's per foot as the more usual 300 LED strips
-
I wasn't expecting inexpensive LED strips to be super bright and clean gorgeous light, but the sickly greenish was not acceptable.
-
A good looking and much less expensive alternative to (pre made) LED undercounted strips
-
There are many Chinese companies that make combination aluminum track and polycarbonate covers for LED strip lights.
-
but so far the adhesive on the LED strip has held well on new, clean, freshly painted cabinets
-
high quality lights, however the light from these LED strips fades to yellow on the outside edges.
-
I wouldn't have minded spending $6 for the very obviously hit-or-miss dime-a-dozen cheapo LED strips that I cannot expect to return to China if they weren't what I thought they were, but I spent $25 each on four units from a US-based reseller
-
Looks very ugly if the LED strips are projecting light onto a white surface from over 2 feet away.
-
I fixed this by cutting the plastic retaining clip to allow for the closely space lights to fit into the plastic connector - leave the tape on the LED strip where it inserts into the plastic connector - and everything was fine.
-
Hitlights are the best LED light strips your $20 can buy
-
If this HitLight Light Strip works the way I believe it will I will be purchasing more.
-
Clean strips with good 3m tape, nice solder points!
-
There is some warm put off by the LEDs because the copper is very thin with respect to the high end LED strips
-
All the 3M adhesive on my set was sticking to the peel off strip, not the LED strip.
-
great quality strip, sweet nice packaging
-
I purchased several LED light strips from several different brands
-
I wouldn't have minded spending $6 for the very obviously hit-or-miss dime-a-dozen cheapo LED strips that I cannot expect to return to China if they weren't what I thought they were, but I spent $25 each on four units from a US-based reseller
-
/Update - the E6000 does not stick to the plastic sleeve holding the LED strip.
-
At least the LED strips that I bought used only single-sided copper, rather than two-sided copper
-
There are a couple of different shades of white, this is less "blue" to my eye than the "cool white" strips but you may prefer the bluer color
-
Even though the picture shows the strip only being cuttable every 6 LED's the one they send you indeed is cuttable every 3 per the description
-
Not sure that it was due to packaging, but rather more likely something that happened in the warehouse prior to shipping, but the LED strip I bought was damaged, with one section snagged so badly that it ripped an LED right off the PCB ribbon
-
I was undertaking a large LED Strip Light project
-
This arrived last month, and thanks to bad weather I am just now able to get the Camper out to install this LED strip in the pantry for some upgraded lighting and aesthetics
-
The negatives, like others have said, the 3M adhesive strip is worthless, I removed the backing and the adhesive film and I am currently experimenting with different products to see what will work best.
-
If you are looking for a very reasonable priced strip of double density LED's stop shopping now
-
LED strip could be brighter
-
so I needed to use a glue gun to adhere LED strip to felt
-
This light strip is brighter and comes to full brightness immediately in freezing temps, unlike the fluorescent lamps.
-
The double backed tape on the LED strip is useless.
-
I did pick up a set of U-channel clear poly sections to place the strips inside to protect them from food/splashes/etc, which may not be required, but had it available
-
This strip is brighter than all three of the other lights put together
-
I do notice that the Hitlights LED light strips have consistently good ratings.
-
Nice long strip of LED lights on auto-adhesive strip
