Was intending to use this for ambient lighting, but it's a bit harsh/clinical feeling, think I will have to use something else

Initially I was a bit skeptical, so I just ordered one string.

Great lights, I just wish they were a bit more flexible and stuck better to what I put them on

This application was a bit tricky, since the strips had to be cut into 30" sections and wired separately

Side by side these LEDs appear to be just a little bit "cooler/bluer" than those

but they were quite a bit harsher of a white than we thought we were getting from the photos (boo!)

Then after a bit it started flickering a bit.

They come with connectors that are a bit difficult to connect.

I fired up a string on the bench and let them warm up a bit before taking a current measurement

I did clean the under surface of the cabinets a bit first, but nothing heroic like alcohol, just a damp paper towel

The color is a bit uneven, and isn't very bright.

They are a bit difficult to solder, but the connectors provided can easily be spliced and used for a more reliable connection

A bit dazzled, I unplugged and started sticking the ribbons under my cabinets

The lighting is a cool, white, and I find it quite clean.
