The not-so-good things about the drone are the altitude hold (driven by the throttle stick) and the trimming function, resulting in poor altitude stability

This thing is FAST!!

Instruction manual is well written (entire manual is in ENGLISH) and easy to understand all the very important things to learn and acclimate yourself with when beginning to pilot a quad for your first time

but I am a good pilot... there will be impacts and good thing these are there, you will be glad they thought about this and built them in

As an engineer, 2 petty things I took issue with were: 1) I felt some of the pictures in the instructions could have been taken from better angles

The drone is great, it’s fast, has some great tricks, very easy to use even for a 7 year old child on his first experience with a drone, but the best thing about it is the costumer service

The good thing about this is that it's very light, very responsive, and has a good "horizontal" altitude hold

I love this little thing, so do the kids.

I like it the only things is the propellers very easy to break & the battery can only hold up to 5 mins

This thing is super responsive and quick

So if you are looking for a good quality drone to practice with or just have a little fun I highly recommend the HS170G.

Pros - Got my HS170G

VERY FAST!!!This HS170G has some very welcome improvements

The HS-170G impressed me even more than the HS-170 Predator (please see my review of that drone in Amazon)

I would recommend the HS170G to anyone, beginner on up

I would highly recommend the HS170G to all newbies flying drones as well as to experienced flyers as it is extremely easy to fly and has (3) speeds

Overall very happy with this HS170G!
