I tried to control the drone using the cell phone App and found the small amount of control input lag makes indoor flying more difficult compared with the regular controller, but with practice this mode can be mastered

The video shows a brief flight inside with rotors collapsed and despite have to fly and video at the same time, its fairly easy to control in a small room as shown, especially in compact mode

If the camera is desired, the so called “wing mode” with rotors extended is also fairly easy to operate indoors as well as being the preferred mode for outdoor flying since power to overcome the wind is greater in wing mode

The video has a slight delay compared to the actual drone movement and there is a VR split screen mode on the phone app.

The enclosed rotors are all on a swivel allowing you to fly the drone in a compact mode versus expanded.
