The covers for the metal pieces are a very flimsy plastic which made me nervous upon opening the package, HOWEVER they are only for cosmetic use and perfectly sufficient for that

The seat on this new one feels like an actual cushion and not hard plastic like the old one

The cheap plastic encasing the metal bars for the arm rests and covering the hinges for tilt contributed to a lot of the squeaking and creaking of the chair

I can foresee issues with all the many stitches and lack of cushion filling which already has me feeling the hard plastic

Other than that the adjustable portion is fine, a bit stiff feeling, but works as it should.
