Some mugs work better than others (I have an oversized tea cup that doesn't work that well, probably because the base of the mug is small (where the heat is distributed from the warmer) but the surface area of the coffee is large and heat escapes through the surface area).

A regular mug won't work

I purchased an expensive coffee warmer at Christmas

This is a nice mug warmer, but its more of a mug furnace

This convenience little thing won’t keep your coffee piping hot but it will be hot enough to be tolerable for any normal human mouth

The heater works great, I tested it when I got it & it did keep my tea warm.

You can put a cold cup of coffee on the warmer and it gets it hot in 15 minutes

I now finish the whole cup, no more wasting cold coffee.

I put my cold cup of coffee on it and 30 minutes later it was back to hot coffee!

Doesn't keep a full cup very warm but half or less does stay warm.
