I read such great reviews about the honeywell...but when I went to install it, it wouldn't work.

Well I was excited to install this wifi thermostat being it had great reviews

I will revise this review if Honeywell corrects this problem, or I learn I have a defective unit

Some reviews of this item made me nervous, and I am still not 30 days out, but it seems to work fine.

I was pretty dissatisfied with Amazon, but that is no reason to give the Honeywell product a bad review

Don't worry about the negative reviews for the associated skill

I'm not sure why people are giving it bad reviews if they are comparing to Nest

After i read a lot of the negative reviews here about this device i ALMOST bought a more expensive one ... but went with this

I read a top-rated review which indicated that the install was pretty difficult, so I ordered installation from Amazon for $89, along with the thermostat.

I am baffled by the positive reviews for this item; if this is a five-star product I have to wonder what constitutes one-star?

Don't believe the negative reviews this device is "all that".

Of course I have not had the system long and if it fails or begins acting goofy, I will update this review

This is a nice looking thermostat that got good reviews

I had originally written a poor review which was incorrect

The reviews seem very good for that model with good comments about customer support.

and it was NEVER unable to re-connect the wifi connection after a power outage as some negative reviews here complained

Other reviews discouraged me from exchanging it for a new one and went with a new product all together.

I was not going to write a review until I read one of the very long negative reviews touting Nest

(Yes, there is a way to handle that scenario .. but just saying)Note, I have not purchased or used this product so not entirely fair to review it ... but hopefully R&D somewhere might read my concerns.
