A short time after I purchased my Nintendo Switch console, I also bought this Excellent item, the HORI Compact Playstand for Nintendo Switch (Officially Licensed by Nintendo).
Perfect little item and some nice little touches like the rubber grips on the bottom of
It can hold most phones, display other items (like amiibo in box) and business cards
Good Item, I also use it for my cel phone to watch videos some times
very nice item my daughter uses it every day it makes the switch even more convenient to play
Now, with Hori's Compact Playstand, it brings in the idea of playing on the Switch, like you are playing at home whenever you're on the go
It's the "official" brand for the nintendo switch, and this playstand is great

The kickstand on the Switch may be great for Tabletop play, but this compact playstand literally kicks it up a notch

Whereas the flip stand has one decent viewing angle this
It's ten times better than playing in handheld mode, using the flimsy integrated kickstand, or trying to get the screen to the right viewing angle some other way
Since when does hori make bad Nintendo accessories, the real bonus of this currently since video streaming isn't yet available is the ability to have the screen at a proper viewing angle while being able to charge your switch

I think I will be using table top mode a lot more than hand held when I'm at home.
This is the perfect stand for playing the Switch in table top mode
I personally love it, just like the Kid Icarus Stand this offers a more relaxed and sturdy table mode for the Switch games you enjoythree levels of angles that feel comfortable wherever you place it
If you're one to use Table Top Mode frequently (or are looking to use it more), this stand is a great investment!

I'm a taller guy (6'2",)so using the kickstand makes for a weird angle.
It works super well, and has greatly improved viewing angles over the regular stand on the Switch itself.
It has great build quality, 3 different settings for optimal angles and each one is elevated so you can charge the Switch without holding it

Works well but the price is not very reasonable actually.
The stand overall is pretty stable and gentle with the Switch and is great for playing while charging via the USB port when not using the Switch's dock, and the compact profile and cheap price are a nice bonus.
Maybe not worth the price
I wouldn't buy this one if your looking to save money they have others for a fair price
When lifted from the front, the whole thing can collapse if you don't support the easel with your hand
If I could improve one thing about it, I would make the "kickstand" portion lock into each position on the stand for extra stability.

This thing is great for when you don't or can't play on the big screen, and you want to use the pro controller
The best thing about this is that I can charge my Nintendo Switch while playing in Tabletop Mode while using the Switch's kickstand alone will not let you do so as the charger must be connected underneath the console
I have not brought my switch to work, but this would be perfect if I did!!The only down side is the kick stand does not lock in place, so one could knock the kickstand down by accident.
Forget that flimsy kickstand, this is a must have accessory.
Bought this stand as I didn't like the normal kickstand that is built into the switch itself
This is a great stand for desk/tabletop use, and it solves the silly issue of not being able to charge while using the flimsy kickstand on the Switch
We all know the kickstand on the switch isn’t great whereas this thing is bomb-proof and easy to set up and take down
Husband wanted a smaller stand for his Switch to avoid scratching the screen and this is perfect.
I don't have to worry about it falling off and breaking the screen
I had heard stories about how the official Switch dock can scratch the screen, and even cause the Switch to overheat, potentially warping it if you play for extended periods of time with graphically-intensive games like Zelda BotW or Xenoblade Chronicles 2
