It also has a solid Bamboo plinth, solid aluminum alloy platter, metal tone arm and Regrind silicone matte

That's fine, because it looks like a classic piece of equipment

This turntable has every feature you need to reliably enjoy your pieces of vinyl

But it looks like a really nice piece of furniture (not just generic stereo equipment) in our living room

Overall, the bamboo, aluminum, & black color scheme comes together for a very attractive aesthetic design

This Bob Marley edition turntable has an elegant design that can fit any decor

Classic design, serves not only as a music player but also a decoration piece of furniture

If you want something functional, well-designed, and visually sweet this is the turntable for you.

The company House of Marley has a focus on sustainable design, so I will definitely be checking out more of their products

This turntable is the right blend of retro with a modern touch

I prefer a lighter touch when possible, so I'm using 1.5 grams

Again, a fantastic turntable, and the dustcover with the tiny tag in the colors of the Jamaican flag is a very nice touch.

I also think that the inclusion of the Marley album is a good touch for those who are being introduced to vinyl for the first time

I don't mind the black cover, and prefer the eco-friendly option to the standard plexiglass which just gets dirty and gross.

That said, for the money, I do not feel that this is the best turntable out there nor do I believe it is the best option if you are concerned with the recycling or sustainability of products.**UPDATE 2-8-17**So paired the Stir it Up with the Parasound Zphono preamplifier and the sound is fuller compared to the included preamp but there are side effects

the Stir it Up from House of Marley might seem like an attractive option but, after taking the time & setting it up properly, there are definitely better options out there

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - just like all the other reviews - right channel stops working shortly after purchasing it - can't get an answer from amazon on what the warranty may be or how to resolve this issue - take your money elsewhere

All the parts are study and well-weighted giving them a very fine feeling of quality craftsmanship

There are other great features, too, as well as a control for adjusting the weight of the arm so that it plays each album as it was meant to be played

You want the weight at the needle to be enough to keep the needle in the groove but not to damage the record or the needle

I didn't think I needed a turntable as good as my main one but also didn't want one that would damage my records so it needed to be of decent quality

and I was looking for something at a good price point, with decent quality, easy set up, and something that looked nice

3.5mm headphone jack in front and RCA output - good quality (with my previous the headphone jack was wonky and loose

I also just tried the "record" feature and the sound quality is awful.

I have a huge collection of records and was waiting for an opportunity to digitize them and along came this fine quality turntable

Stir It UP turntable manages to be both well made, good looking, high quality and affordable

Really nice looking turntable I must say, which was what drew me to it.

On top is a thick rubber mat and the base of the unit has silicone feet, both of which help dampen unwanted sound

There are cartridge upgrades, of course, and a quick scan of the internet will reveal some mid-priced units that have wonderful sound so you can always upgrade if playing vinyl becomes important enough to you

Sound is good, however, again, you must be able to understand how to use the balance weight and anti-skate dial or you will have a record that does not sound as good or skips a lot.

The arm is aluminum with a screw-held needle (that makes a difference, tension-held needles can produce weird sounds when they loosen)

The sound is good as I listen to a freshly opened album, but also, when I jammed to an Procol Harem LP

Included is a nice fabric dust cover, something I am happy to see instead of those old-school clear Plexiglas lids

No lid, just a cloth cover lending to greater potential for dust than a solid cover.

I don't mind the black cover, and prefer the eco-friendly option to the standard plexiglass which just gets dirty and gross.

I would have given this five stars if it had a hard cover.

Plus it doesn’t come with a clear cover just a black canvas cover
