The tri-color worked fine but the black ink one was a complete dud and did not print correctly after multiple resets and reloads of the cartridge

I always buy extra cartridges of ink when my present ink runs out - I put the fresh ink cartridge I have (in waiting) into the printer and then order another fresh cartridge.

Disappointed across the board in my purchase of their printer if they cannot even get their ink cartridges to work.

I don't know if this is even genuine ink cartridge but it gave me very very bad quality, faded and fuzzy black text.

To confirm ink in question was defective - placed other, new ink in same printer and it was fine.

We love the ink but the next one that we received had no ink in it.

The color one o bought works fine and the printer works great with genuine ink that I had to go buy from the hp website because I no longer trust this site that it is selling genuine hp product.

Bought ink at Staples last fall, when I went to use ink a month later in my printer, it didn't work - came out spotchy and with very little ink when the alignment page printed.

50 pages and its downold style cartridges lasted 500cheap machine but very costly ink
