They did a good job helping me by phone because I'm not the best with computers.
I have printed the same photos from both machines (before boxing up and giving away the Epson) and the 5255 clearly does a superior job of it!Set-up with a new machine can be a real bear.

Easy to set up, prints just fine and works with mac computer
The prints aren't unclear at all but they just don't have that burnt-in chiseled look.

It worked Ok...not trouble free, had a few software issues that had to iron out...but nothing too bad...the ink deal free for 3 months is worth quite a bit actually, I guess after that I'll have to decided if it is worth it to stay with it.
Does not hold enough paper, can not print on both sides of paper automatically, will not work with cheaper ink!
We are low-volume printers, so I'll be interested to see how well the "free" ink option actually works.

Only complaint is paper comes out front & if you lack space to put arm to catch, it falls on floor
This is a desk printer so you do have limits such as how much paper it can hold and how much it can print before running low on ink, but that is expected if you don't want a big copier/printer in your home that you would normally find at Staples or some printing room at an office building.
