The hardware is very powerful and the software complements it very well
With all that being said there are three reasons that I can't seriously be recommend this phone, first it will not be upgraded to Windows 10 which is ashamed because it clearly has very capable hardware.
if you know what to realistically expect from a windows os phone this has great speakers/hardware
Love the blend of the great hardware that HTC makes and the ease of Windows Phone
They are pretty loud, not the loudest I’ve heard from a phone, but the sound quality is unmatched
However if you want something different, if you want a smooth reliable phone with a gorgeous bright screen, with a fantastic build quality and very cheap price tag then this IS the phone for you.
it has great build quality, a good screen, and an awesome OS
I are besties and I never have to worry I am forgetting something.
Why even bother I ain't shelling out 3 bills for another $99 phone
- I am a huge fan of the Windows Phone operating system, and it is really nice to see such a powerful, useful and beautiful OS on such a high end phone
Its sad to see one of the biggest software companies fail so badly at making a mobile os
While it's not hard science, controlling for most of the variables shows that Windows Phone is the superior OS in this regard
Sucks that windows 10 mobile isn't out , but 8.1 on this phone is really fast and responsive, a little get used to this OS but in a good way such and open device.
it has great build quality, a good screen, and an awesome OS
Boomsound is a very nice feature which makes speaker phone and sharing videos a much more enjoyable experience
In conclusion, I would recommend this phone for anyone that is looking to buy a phone with good performance, excellent battery life and an alternative experience with Windows Phone 8.1
I are besties and I never have to worry I am forgetting something.
I've really enjoyed playing with some of the apps that HTC has created to enhance the mobile phone experience and make your phone even more useful
Why even bother I ain't shelling out 3 bills for another $99 phone
The phone is great, love the awesome design and it feels great when you hold the device
The same understated and elegant design remains, as do the extremely loud BoomSound speakers, beautiful and crisp screen, and high-resolution wide-view front-facing camera
From the live tiles on the start menu, to the witty and always helpful Cortana, from putting people first to the well-thought design elements, Windows Phone is, in my opinion, the best mobile operating system
The design and overall aesthetics of the phone are excellent
If you are in the market for a well-designed high end smartphone, especially, Windows Phone smartphone, the HTC One M8 for Windows is the one to get.
The screen is very bright at its highest setting, build quality is perfect this is basically what we have come to expect from HTC, it feels really good in the hand with its curved back.
The same understated and elegant design remains, as do the extremely loud BoomSound speakers, beautiful and crisp screen, and high-resolution wide-view front-facing camera
The screen is so crisp and clear and text is displayed in such a way that I find reading on this phone to be a breeze
Took it off the charger one morning and it emittted a vibrating sound and no screen whatsoever.
it has great build quality, a good screen, and an awesome OS
It's not that the camera is necessarily bad, just for a high-end phone there are some better alternatives if you're looking for high-end quality pictures on a mobile device (ie
I would say the biggest weakness of the phone is the camera.
If you are one who needs a good cam I would hold out until the new model with a better camera comes out, it is out over seas and coming to the states soon.
The camera is also not as good as the ones found on similarly priced phones
Perhaps the only negative is the camera, although I say this as an extremely minor complaint
The screen on this phone has one of the brightest and clearest displays that I've ever seen on a phone
The screen on the HTC is big, but windows wastes to much of the space, not being able to use that rich and full 1080p display
I are besties and I never have to worry I am forgetting something.
Color reproduction is great, not overly saturated like AMOLED displays tend to be
The reception with the HTC phone is a little worse than my old Samsung and the display makes it hard to understand when I've got 3g or 4g and when I don't
Windows phone runs very well on the device and compliments its premium feel very nicely
The Windows Phone OS, however, elevates the device even further
I are besties and I never have to worry I am forgetting something.
Why even bother I ain't shelling out 3 bills for another $99 phone
The Bad: I purchased a Windows phone about 4 months ago to escape all things Google and the Apple cloudiness, thinking that Windows would just be a phone and not insist on sharing my life
