    HTC One M8, Gunmetal Grey 32GB (AT&T)

    • the camera doesn't totally suck, but it does need a big upgrade
    • The camera is great
    • The camera is also quite horrible
    • Sadly, the camera is a true downer
    • The battery is pretty good and the camera isn't as bad as many reviewers make it out to be
    • They say the camera on the S5 is better than the m8, and while this may be true, it doens't concern me.
    • After that phone worked fine for year and now again back camera doesn't work also there's issues with dynamic.
    • Wifey loves it, wishes it had more powerful camera but 5MB isn't too shabby
    • The camera is the fastest phone camera I've seen and takes really great shots, and I say this as a Galaxy owner who's taken award-winning pics with my phone
    • If all you do is post your pics online, then the camera is perfect
    • Who cares if the camera isn't THE BEST phone camera ever
    • Do you even know how powerful and a great camera this phone has
    • Pros: Good camera and display
    • While the camera on the M8 was equally panned by all comparisons, no one said it was an awful camera.
    • Selfie Camera: It likely has the best selfie camera on the market, with the front facing camera having a higher megapixel count than the rear-facing camera, which is kind of weird in a way
    • The "secondary" top camera being used to capture depth works, but only under the right conditions
    • The camera is great and trust
    • There's 32gb of storage, the screen is beautiful, the camera is nice, the speakers are awesome, and the performance is buttery smooth
    • and I hear has a much better camera (in terms of MP) than most phones out there, including the G5.
    • Well, the camera was good.
    • Fantastic display and sound, very good camera (not a photographer)
    • you kind of expect the phone to have a great camera, on par or better than the S5 or iPhone 6
    • The S5 has a higher MP camera, therefore able to take better photos in broad daylight, while the One's camera is more versatile and better in low light conditions
    • The HTC is fully customizable, it has great build quality, awesome speakers, cool camera, the best screen latency in the market and An intuitive UI
    • Great camera, fast processor, and easy to use (relatively speaking).
    • It is a solid camera, but probably not the best.- Button placement.
    • The S5 has a higher MP camera, therefore able to take better photos in broad daylight, while the One's camera is more versatile and better in low light conditions
    • The improved advanced software that supports the camera is also excellent
    • One other feature I like is the camera-there are multiple modes (like zoe, selfie, etc) to play with.
    • Other than that, the camera SUCKS
    • The first phone with the defective camera was a manufacturer problem, the second Phone was an Amazon error.
    • even if you never lay it down and always have a case on it; the camera could be a bit more consistent, it goes from some amazing pictures to meh pictures in Auto; and if you have a microSD card in, you can hear it rattle around when you take phone calls
    • I do miss a few of the options from Samsung, not to mention the better camera, but overall this is the better phone!
    • The camera is every bit as good as you have read and then some!
    • There are two rear cameras on this phone for focus and depth, and in that department they work
    • It isn't a horrible rear camera, but seeing HTC do such a great job with everything else on this phone, you simply expect better
    • * Camera breaks on new HTC One M8 phone
    • The camera is really good to the point that my wife is dropping her Iphone 5 to get one as well
    • I played around with the M8's camera and discovered how interesting and fun the panoramic mode is
    • The TV remote is really fun to play with, the screen looks absolutely beautiful, and while the 4MP camera isn't the best, the 3D effects of the camera can make some normally nice photos look very professional
    • Better camera app
    • and I have no problems with the ultra pixels, my pics are as nice as my 10 pixel camera.
    • The camera drains the battery more, but I'm sure that might have something to do with the camera itself
    • The dual camera seems neat, but appears to be more of a gimmick.
    • I don't know if the S5 does this, but the camera can be saved out as different cameras - each version having it's own settings... like you could have a low light camera setting saved, a camera with +2EF saved, etc.
    • The camera is fast!
    • I am still using it with the software that's on it (handy for music, timers, excellent camera, etc.), but no longer as a phone.
    • Good thing the camera is not important to me because it takes purple pictures.
    • The camera isn't spectacular and a lot of the shots wind up pretty grainy
    • For 50 bucks on Amazon (with contract) this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time, a no brainerA lot of reviews out there will tell you the camera on this phone isn't very good.
    • Received the First phone and it was new as advertised but it had a defective camera.
    • CONS:-Camera - the biggest flaw for most reviews I've read.
    • The camera is not really good
    • The top rear camera is used to depth perception and allows use of some of the advanced features of the camera like its U Focus and perspective adjustment
    • but I honestly love the camera
    • Words can not describe how bad the camera is compared to an I phone but other than that I like it a lot and and shoot most my serious shots with a good DSLR.
    • This is one area where I wished HTC would focus more on, but this is far from the worst camera I've seen
    • There's no histogram view or anything like that, but it's a pretty robust camera
    • Camera alone is amazing
    • The camera is excellent (until it develops the film)
    • Like most people have mentioned, the camera is adequate without being amazing.
    • Who cares if the camera isn't THE BEST phone camera ever
    • The camera certainly is not perfect, but has a lot of cool features like setting focus after you take the picture
    • Although the camera was really nice, I am glad I went with the HTC one m8
    • Most of the time U-Focus (name of the top camera module) seems to be more of a software fix and not an actually camera capable of measuring depth
    • and it is telling me that the top camera is blocked by my hand,
    • Having ordered the HTC I can say that the camera is great.
    • Who cares if the camera isn't THE BEST phone camera ever
    • The camera really shines under low-light conditions, but in normal instances the image quality needs improvement.
    • It is a solid camera, but probably not the best.- Button placement.
    • Camera was great in the beginning.
    • Phone was good for 9 months..now my camera only works on selfie..the front camera only works for my el polo
    • It's features are great, the screen and camera and both great and so are the speakers
    • The camera is great - I only look at photos on my phone and computer so the ultrapixel deal is excellent
    • Just figure out the TV brand, and you can change it.--The camera really isn't bad
    • The camera is hard to figure
    • Who cares if the camera isn't THE BEST phone camera ever
    • The back camera is great though the front camera isn't as good
    • You need an extremely good low-light camera and are confident that megapixels aren't
    • The S5 has a higher MP camera, therefore able to take better photos in broad daylight, while the One's camera is more versatile and better in low light conditions
    • They say the camera on the S5 is better than the m8, and while this may be true, it doens't concern me.
    • The Galaxy S5 does still have the superior camera (no questions about that) but I disliked the constant waiting for the camera app to launch
    • The camera isn't spectacular and a lot of the shots wind up pretty grainy
    • Personally, I don't use my phone to take state of the art pictures so this camera works well enough for me, although I can understand this may not be ideal for others
    • I love this phone love the camera and video the quality it's amazing.
    • Great performance across the board, feature rich camera, beautiful display, and overall gorgeous phone, as we have to come to expect from HTC.
    • The screen has such an amazing clarity and the camera is so much better than my last phone, the Samsung Galaxy S6.
    • Yes the camera could be better but trust me you can/will get some great shots with this phone
    • Although some people have criticized the camera, I like it.
    • It is solid in the hand, fast in use, the battery is more than ample, the camera is awesome, the software is smooth
    • If you're someone who is a photo junkie, you might be drawn to a different phone with a better camera
    • But the camera is completely disappointing.
    • Before making a determination as to whether the camera is good enough for your purposes, make sure to try it for yourself
    • The camera is not the best however it is good enough for a phone.
    • Camera is great
    • The camera is FAST, and even does good in low light areas
    • Decent camera for what it is
    • The camera on this phone is good when the object or the person is close by
    • Fast, responsive, great build quality, good battery life, great sound, decent camera, dot view case is interesting
    • Camera is great, especially in close up (macro) scenarios.
    • rear camera doesnt work and crashes every time i try
    • Last the camera is even more amazing than the M7 with the new UFocus™ that allows you after the photo has been taken to focus on the object you want and creating a blur for everything else
    • Great speakers and camera
    • so I figured why not take the chance on the M8, camera be damned.
    • Having said that, this phone has an impressive front facing camera, which is a bit nicer than the S5's
    • The battery holds up good, the camera works really good
    • The camera is absolutely terrible.
    • Having said that, it's too bad HTC didn't follow the trend of other phones and put a better camera in
    • Apps crashing, phone resets itself, camera very slow to start and it always wants to go into car mode by itself
    • Both of these claim to have superior screens and cameras.
    • I stuck with HTC because my last one was reliable, fast, and the camera is amazing
    • The low light ability on the M8's camera is superb and is surprising for a phone camera
    • For an average person this camera is just fine, and offers some nice options to tweak photos
    • I find the camera to be decent, despite not having the megapixels that competitors have (a fact that HTC disguises by simply
    • Some people complain about the camera but to me its great
    • The fact that the HTC has a lower resolution did not bother me as that has nothing to do with a good picture.
    • but, I work a
    • The soft keys on the bottom stink as they are so close to the space bar on every keyboard that I frequently hit the Home key with my thumb and have to re-access my SMS-text or an email that I am writing
    • So far my pictures don't look as sharp as with the
