Huawei isn't going with bleeding edge technology here--the colors are nice but don't pop like on a high-end Samsung phone even if you use the vivid display mode.

In general, it's a bit overpriced and the camera is a very good one (with many options on hand) but expect no magic like having a DSLR with same functions and "pixelage" at the same time, and this is due the best quality and internal sensor enhancements work best on 10MP resolution on the phone (although we can get 40MP without too much "true colors")

As far as the basics the signal reception is very good and call quality is excellent.

Excellent phone, the most amazing camera I've ever used.

Even still, it is well worth using despite these minor inconveniences.

Although the phone has 128 Gb of storage, I do think it would be better if the second card slot could be used for either a SIM card or a microSD

The build quality feels premium although the aluminum body isn't nearly as distinctive as the glass and aluminum design of the Huawei Mate 10 which is far more likely to turn heads if style happens to be very important to you.

Long battery life, number one phone camera in the world (much better than iPhoneX), and most importantly (to me, and to those who travel the world a lot) dual SIM cards are the reason that set this smart phone way ahead of everyone else.

and I was only 1nce able to drain battery to 15%

Huawei is not very good when it comes to software updates.

I’m glad Huawei is working with Leica to take cellphone camera to a new level.

The net result is that, at least in my case, the Huawei ID and all functions associated with it are unusable.
