In general, it's a bit overpriced and the camera is a very good one (with many options on hand) but expect no magic like having a DSLR with same functions and "pixelage" at the same time, and this is due the best quality and internal sensor enhancements work best on 10MP resolution on the phone (although we can get 40MP without too much "true colors")
As far as the basics the signal reception is very good and call quality is excellent.

I've been using the P20 pro for one month now, and I'm still impressed by the quality of the pictures
But the P20 Pro was a breeze to set up the way I like my phones
+ because its flat screens, Plus the rise to wake up (that was taken from the iPhones) and the navigation on the home button (Like Android P and even better) are great features.
The first thing I noticed is that the Huawei P20 Pro isn't as fast and smooth as my Xiami Mi Mix 2S which is a little disappointing since this is the more expensive phone.

The exception is very bright sunlight which the display doesn't handle well--but that's always been a downside with AMOLED displays compared with IPS LCD

BTW, the three lens camera (1X, 3X and 5X) takes absolutely beautiful pictures and make me wondering if I need to carry the heavy and bulky camera to travel anymore.
The AI function on the camera is spectacular and I took some wonderful pictures from it.
The 3 cameras at the rear makes for clear crisp pictures

The build quality feels premium although the aluminum body isn't nearly as distinctive as the glass and aluminum design of the Huawei Mate 10 which is far more likely to turn heads if style happens to be very important to you.
