The Bamboo tablets from Wacom have *way* more value for what you spend and don't feel like cheap plastic

If the CD doesn’t work, is broken, or you’re computer does not have a disc tray, fret not as you can go on their website and download the drivers there which will allow you to install the program needed to have the tablet work

It may not be the pen drivers fault as in my experience windows

It's not working as it should with my new laptop but it worked without installing drivers on my crappy laptop.
