  • But with the advancement in tech, I thought it was time I move to a modern keyboard featuring Cherrys and other useful enhancements.
  • But with the advancement in tech, I thought it was time I move to a modern keyboard featuring Cherrys and other useful enhancements.
  • From someone that goes through both the enthusiast, gaming, and typist keyboard market, this keyboard has been pleasantly surprising, it has superb build quality, and after pulling out and lubing the switches it feels like any normal Cherry MX keyboard except having a large amount of really surprisingly useful features such as the media keys, a mode that prevents you from closing out of certain programs both in and out of gaming
  • It might not be quite as comfortable as my DAS Keyboards but it combines quality mechanical switch keys with a modern feature/gimmick set to make for a keyboard both good for gaming and typing
  • The lighting on this board is just as good as on the K70 LUX

Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • the quality of the keyboard is rock solid, obviously made to take a beating during gaming
  • They also have a very solid first mouse in the Pulsefire FPS, and they have been releasing great mechanical keyboard entries- focusing on great build quality, understated aesthetics and standard key sizing (standard bottom
  • Looks good, the lighting modes are fun, and the key switches are great quality
  • The thing has rock solid build quality and is overall and amazing keyboard to use
  • The top of the keyboard is brushed aluminum as advertised, giving it a good build quality

Reviews around alloy (5.00 of 5)

  • Blue especially never looked quite right on the K70 LUX, but on the Alloy Elite RGB is looks more vibrant and true blue
  • For this review, I'll be comparing the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB against the Corsair K70 LUX RGB
  • The wrist rest on the Alloy Elite RGB is also really nice
  • On the Alloy elite RGB, the mx reds are actually fairly
  • Having said all of that, I actually think the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB is even better

Reviews around rest (5.00 of 5)

  • Finally, the detachable wrist rest is an added bonus and definitely eases the strain on my hand when gaming
  • Personally, I'm happy I spent the extra 10 dollars as I love the wrist rest
  • It's comfortable to use with a nice wrist rest and the great keys
  • I'm probably complaining about something trivial, but for me I love a good padded wrist rest and at this price point I was expecting more
  • Comfortable, detachable wrist rest with soft-touch coating

Reviews around build (5.00 of 5)

  • The thing has rock solid build quality and is overall and amazing keyboard to use
  • The top of the keyboard is brushed aluminum as advertised, giving it a good build quality
  • A very sturdy, well built keyboard that's extremely responsive!
  • I like well built products and this keyboard does not disappoint
  • You may want to consider buying a switch tester if you want a more comprehensive idea of how different switches will feel.-------------------------tl;dr Nice build quality apart from minor spacebar rattle

Reviews around rgb (5.00 of 5)

  • I personally don't miss RGB on my keyboard though, I find it too distracting
  • I'll explain the areas where I feel the Elite RGB tops the K70 LUX.HyperX has been killing it in the PC peripheral game the last few years
  • But with a single pattern (i.e., no keypress pattern), you can set any color to each individual key, or groups of keys, for all lighting patterns (i.e., solid, breathing, wave, trigger, explosion, HyperX flame). All in all, this keyboard has just about everything I could hope for, and for the things it doesn't, they're easily dealt with (i.e., fingerprints wipe off easy) or things I wouldn't use (i.e., wrist wrest to save desk space, flashier rgb patterns because they'd distract me)
  • He told me that most of the reasons for his wanting it are on the product page, but I'll repeat them here for you:Unique radiant light bar and dynamic RGB lighting effects
  • So I originally bought the Alloy Elite RGB cherry MX Brown from Amazon and was not very pleased.

Reviews around feel (4.59 of 5)

  • I like the feel of the keyboard, the volume control, the USB port on the back for usb port or mouse, and the hand rest
  • The feel of the keys makes the keyboard a complete joy to use
  • It's solid, doesn't have a cheap feel, the red led is really nice, everything has been working fine and the keys don't feel very "mushy" in a sense
  • This keyboard is very comfortable to use, I love the feel of the wrist rest
  • I like the feel of the keys and the keyboard’s quick responsiveness so much that I use it for writing and other work every day, not just gaming

Reviews around product (4.45 of 5)

  • I really enjoy this product and think it's definitely a step above keyboards such as a the Corsair K70.
  • I went ahead and bought the same exact board from Best Buy in hopes of a better product.
  • Would not recommend the product
  • My son is a harsh critic of anything computer related, and so when he says this is a great product, I believe him!
  • The keyboard looks very new like it said in the description and the clicks feel very smooth and satifying, overall the product is very great and others should buy it!

Reviews around light (4.21 of 5)

  • You can only save one basic static lighting profile to the board (which I should mention would sometimes not load on startup- sheesh!).Also, the light bar at the top looks FANTASTIC and is a really nice touch
  • I adore the lighting on the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB keyboard
  • The lighting is so clean, One of the best looking rgb options for a cherry mx keyboard
  • The lighting is very nice and makes the keys easily visible.
  • Much less LED light bleed out of the bottom of the keys onto the keyboard base plate

Reviews around gaming (4.16 of 5)

  • Hands down this is the best gaming keyboard I've ever owned.
  • Finally, the detachable wrist rest is an added bonus and definitely eases the strain on my hand when gaming
  • I previously had a corsair k70 then a logitech g pro (great keyboard too) then when I saw this come out in a cherry blue option I had to have it

Reviews around key (2.78 of 5)

  • Very strong keyboard, the keys a little sensitive though.
  • The keys aren't clunky and the key sounds are pleasant also.
  • FYI the keys are really bright for not being a RGB keyboard which is cool.
  • On this keyboard, the keys are nice and smooth and the media buttons feel super stable and the volume wheel has been noticeably improved.
  • With my previous keyboard you had to be sitting up straight and directly over the keyboard to see the number and function keys

Reviews around software (2.18 of 5)

  • The controls are laid out nicely and the keyboard backlighting can be customized easily from the buttons on the keyboard eliminating any need for complex software.
  • Unlike Windows users, I can’t download their software to get the full customization available, but I’m satisfied with the built-in options
  • Actual typing is as good as I could expect (i.e., keys don't feel cramped for me, there is n-key rollover, no ghosting). The software allows you to remap any key with a recorded or preset macro, and game mode allows you to turn off a few other key combos if desired: Alt + Tab, Alt + F4, Shift + Tab, Ctrl + Esc
  • The fact that there is no obtrusive software needed is a godsend and i will never buy another keyboard with cancer software
  • The first is rainbow wave, which is just as nice as that found on e K70 LUX
