As it stands, I can’t recommend it over a more-simple class-compliant USB audio/MIDI interface
The iConnectAUDIO4+ Advanced Audio is actually pretty nice but the reason I'm giving it 1 star is to warn others about Amazon's latest BS - selling you an open box as if it were a new item

Very good assortment of features, including better power management than most.
I was quite disappointed that not only was a power supply not shipped with the unit, but the specs for the PS are not offered, so you can't simply provide one of your own ($30 if you want to take advantage of the good power management by purchasing iConnectivity's PS).
Half of the inputs don’t work properly and and the phantom power doesn’t provide enough power to make microphone audible; the closest I got to being able to hear with phantom power was once when I got it to operate at an extremely soft, barely audible level

I also got it working great with iOS, but I'll admit it did take my fiddling with a few buttons, realizing that you have to select the right USB port and turn up the volume because it's off by default.
Also, this will free up your other audio port on your laptop to watch cat videos on youtube (you know you do it too

Awesome device with thoroughly worked out software support that fully achieves the potential of the hardware - kudos!
The iOS configuration app (iConfig) doesn't support configuring this device yet, which seems silly considering this product was announced over a year before it was released and iOS compatibility seems to be the primary selling point
This a great device for iPad / Desktop users or two iPads

NOTE This is not the 2k Whine bug, this is a DEAD unit!DONT BUY IT, buy a Behringer u-phoria 4 input instead, you can still connect an ipad and buy a lighning usb adapter with power in and your set,Bitterly disappointing, I have a $450 AUD paperweight with some nice USB cables
They determined it was the fault of a bad USB cable that had fried the board

I opened it one time thinking I needed to change something to get my mpk 25 mini to work, figured out it was the usb cable (ya those things do fail, even if they sit still for a billion years).PRO TIP: When using this you can select in audio prefs in logic pro the 'output' some like to use their desktop/laptop output (I have a macbook pro 2012), I like to use the audio 4+ output myself as that knob on the unit is nice to turn around
Sturdy built quality, as usual from iConnectivity, and decend sound quality and the best thing is it runs off USB-Power unlike the
Should be named "iConnectNot"!This thing looked like a dream for gigging with my iPad Pro: 4 inputs, multiple outputs for mains and monitor mixes, it actually charges the ios device when in use, it even has a 1/4" threaded hole on the bottom to securely mount on a tripod or mic stand.
This thing is awesome!!
