I get it - its a $300 controller AND interface (that you can't disable)
I/O Workstation is a fairly useful audio interface that can function as permanent controller, or something you take with you on the go.

I/O 49 is a versatile midi keyboard which packs with lots of functionality and free software
Overall, it is a nice Midi controller
This is a decent enough midi controller but the frustration of registering the product over and over to try to download their software is beyond maddening

Having a ¼” guitar input with tight gain control plus a XLR input with selectable phantom power on a rig of this scale and price is one best features of this product.

There is some foam inside to protect the keyboard during transit, and a small box inside that holds a couple AA batteries and the two MIDI cables (one USB type-A and one Lightning).
I suspect with this being a 'portable' keyboard and those cables getting plugged in and unplugged frequently, pins are going to get bent

The weakest hardware part remains the pressure needed to operate the velocity sensitive drum pads.

Unfortunately, I find one of the biggest weaknesses to be the velocity sensitive pads on the right side of the board.

The touch-based mod/pitch are very responsive - much better than i anticipated.3

The bright blue lights I don't think can be fixed, so if I keep it I will probably just tape a piece of cloth over the info panel (brightest light) that I can lift up when I need to see it and probably not use the pads and just put tape over them too

I'm just not sure there is another compact 4-octave controller with a full-size keybed this nice
