We have had our monitor for over a year, and the charging port got loose and wouldn’t charge

issue - screen ultimately stops working because the charging port becomes loose and will no longer charge - this happened on both unitsUnit is constantly beeping when not plugged in because of low battery, even though the battery has been charged all night - they give steps about pulling the battery out and waiting a few minutes and putting it back in, which works sometimes, but this shouldn’t be necessary - this happened on both unitsPlastic mount that holds the antenna as it swivels broke even though there was no kind of physical harm to it - this happened with both unitsRandomly beeps loudly in the middle of the night because it randomly looses signal momentarily - this happened with both unitsWe’ve lived with this monitor because when we had a second child it was convenient to be able to add a second camera and it was going to be really expensive to buy an all new system that would accommodate both kids

The charging port doesn't work well

The charging port also is loose and I basically have to tape the cord into the monitor to stay in

The one complaint that some friends had was that the micro-usb plug failed, but that issue has not been resolved by Infant Optics changing the charging port to a more stable design

The charging port stopped working and they sent me a replacement.

The battery kept dying even after it was replaced several times and eventually the charge port on the monitor stopped working

Both camera units have worked flawlessly, but the monitor unit, with its charging port had unfortunately started to fail because the charger connection was too lose to maintain a proper charge

In general, the picture not any clearer than the cheap-o monitor I purchased for traveling

n’t had issues that Infant optics couldn’t fix

n’t lose the picture for a long time

n’t cover accidental I ask if they can do something to help me
