Honestly i was very surprised on how well these sounded, amazing range and powerful mid bass even at low volume, and a very well rounded sound for the price, I can only imagine how much better they would sound if i was also using an amp, now with all this in mind your sound quality will vary do to a few things
These cover all ranges well with a nice tight base, usually not found in a small speaker.
These are impressive, great sound and handle mid range pretty well.
Loved the Infinity's I put into my Impala SS ('96) and got GREAT results with these in my G35.The original Bose speakers were paper cones and no tweeters

easy mount install kit works great with flat piece of rigid plastic material, I used electrical face plate from local lumber center cut and modified for use with install accessories that come with the speakers

Sure there is more volume but the clarity is the biggest improvement

The tweeters response is silky smooth and transparent with great detail.
They have it all, great bass punch and great detail with out being fatiguing in the highs at all, Nice and smooth revealing treble
Of course at highway speeds and higher volumes to drown out the wind and road noise, they lose some detail and a lot of bass to all the background noise, that is inevitable
The highs from the tweeter are soft, and also well detailed.
