The stand was very easy to setup and put together, but the flimsy pieces of metal could BARELY handle the weight of my Blue Yeti

This is actually a nice stand with nice accessories for the money.

My condenser is heavy, and I have the shock mount and the pop filter, and even with all that weight, fully extended, this stand is stable.

If you want to do audio recording this will likely fit the bill, I have a Blue Yeti attached on mine, which itself is not exactly a light microphone, but the stand holds it nice and firm and not once has it fallen or sunk

I would highly recommend spending more money and getting a far better microphone stand.

The stand attaches to my desk great, (like 1/2in particle board) though I might recommend using a wedge between the plate and the desk if you want to avoid marring of the table as I would also recommend tightening it down real tight to prevent it moving around too much
